There’s now a Love Island board game – but you’ll need a partner to play it

THE reality TV show had us hooked over summer but soon we'll be able to recreate Love Island at home with a new board game.

Players have to face a series of hot challenges as they flirt their way to the winning spot.

For six weeks, over 2.9million of us were glued to our TV screens by the sun, sex and tears as we watched good-looking single people hook up, switch partners and take part in trouble-causing challenges.

Based on the ITV2 hit show, Love Island: The Game promises players the chance to "experience the taste of Islander life".

Okay, so it doesn't involve flying out to a villa in Majorca but it does promise a number of raunchy - and physical - challenges.

You play in pairs and even though game makers reckon it's just as fun to play with your mate, it sounds like it works best if you're in a couple.

You and your partner will have to take part in challenges chosen with a spin the bottle spinner card.

The type of tasks you'll face include the sexiest pub quiz ever, a couples quiz, sexy charades or a physical challenge.

You might be told to discreetly touch someone else's partner's knee without getting caught or you might have to pop a balloon with your booty.

There's a blindfold challenge too where couples have to rely on touch to guess the correct answers. Are you up for the challenge yet?

The game was unveiled by creators Ginger Fox yesterday and has already scooped the Toy Fair Hero award.

They haven't told us where you'll be able to buy it yet but it will cost £12.50. Unfortunately, frisky couples will have to wait until September to get their hands on the game.

Applications for the next series of the hit ITV2 show are already being taken, so if you think you'll be the producers type (of contestant) on paper, here's everything you need to know.

Love Island 2017 winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies came face to face for the first time since they split back in November.

Kem and Amber were forced to sit just seats apart at the National Television Awards.
