For 24 hours some of the country's biggest stores take part in the online sale event, which comes directly after Black Friday.

Even though high street stores appeared quiet on Friday with hardly any queues, UK shoppers were expected to spend just under £2.6 billion on Friday alone - eight per cent up on last year.
