LUNCH TO GO

Starbucks is launching a £3.99 meal deal – but it doesn’t include a hot drink

The lunch bundle will be available in over 60 Starbucks stores close to office buildings in London for £3.99 – and it includes the new hot Christmas sandwich range

FRAPPUCCINO specialist Starbucks has joined the meal deal war by launching a new lunchtime offer - but it won't include any of its popular hot drinks.

For £3.99, the coffee chain's new lunch bundle includes a sandwich, wrap or panini as well as a snack and a drink.

Snack wise customers can pick up a bag of Kettle Chips (and chose between four flavours) or a banana for a healthier lunch.

But Starbucks fans might be disappointed by the drinks options.

The only drink on offer is a healthy but boring bottle of still or sparkling water.

But customers will have lots of sandwiches to choose from in the deal - including Starbucks' hot Christmas sandwich range and a vegan option.

And overall it's pretty good value for money, if you take Starbucks' prices into account.

The tasty poached egg and hollandaise croissant is part of the lunch bundle and considering it costs £3.79 on its own, it's a pretty good deal.

Starbucks fans can also pick up the turkey feast panini as part of the meal deal, which costs £4.25 when you buy it separately.

The new lunchtime bundle is launching in over 60 Starbucks stores but sadly it will only be available to Londoners.
