Tesco is offering 25% off wine, champagne or Prosecco – but you’ll have to be quick

SAVVY shoppers can pick up plenty of plonk on the cheap at Tesco in the run-up to Christmas.

The supermarket is offering 25 per cent off when you buy six or more bottles of wine, champagne or Prosecco.

The deal is already available online and in larger stores - excluding Tesco Express outlets - and it's a great way of stocking up on the booze ahead of the festive season.

But you'll need to be quick as the offer will only be available until Monday December 4.

Remember, you'll only get the deal when you buy at least six bottles. Otherwise each bottle will cost the usual retail price.

And there is plenty of booze to choose from.

The offer includes pricey champagnes bottles like the £27 Moet & Chandon Brut.

But also Tesco's own Finest Premier Cru which is selling for a more affordable £19.

A £7 bottle of Prosecco and some of Tesco's award winning wines are also on offer.

It's worth noting that the offer isn't available in Scotland and you can get a maximum of 36 bottles.

Of course, Tesco is not the only retailer running discounts ahead of Christmas.

On their own, the bottles are on offer for £5 each so six of them costs £30. In the deal you'll essentially be getting one bottle free.

Asda is also launching six festive wine magnums including a rosé, two red wines, prosecco and champagne - but for some of the booze you'll be paying extra for the novelty size of the bottle.

Morrisons is selling a giant bottle of prosecco that's TWICE the size of a normal bottle of fizz for just £10.
