Morrisons is selling CARAMEL fudge teacakes and they sound amazing
GONE are the days when mince pies were the only festive sweet treat on offer at Christmas.
Now, Morrisons is selling some seriously luxurious chocolate and caramel fudge teacakes and they're just £1 for a pack of four.
The supermarket's Best dark chocolate & caramel fudge teacakes have been launched in time for Christmas and they look delicious.
These are no ordinary teacakes because they're made with Belgian dark chocolate and caramel fudge pieces - which make our mouths water just thinking about it.
The traditional English sweet treats usually contain dried fruit pieces like raisins and sultanas, but these are a bit on the naughty side.
Teacakes are normally cut in half and served toasted smothered in butter, which means the chocolate and caramel will melt in the heat, adding to that indulgent taste.
A BIT SHELLFISH Iceland are selling posh lobsters without the shell – but they come at a price
They are typically eaten for breakfast or a snack, but you won't want to make these a regular treat because just one of the goodies contains 318 calories - which is more than a Mars bar.
In Morrisons, you can grab a pack of eight for 80p, which works out at 13p per cake - or 12p cheaper than one of the chocolatey ones.
Morrisons is really getting into the spirit this year with their festive bakery range which features Christmas tree shaped crumpets.
The treats are available for £1 in Morrisons and Asda are stocking them too.
