Currys PC World has slashed prices on 4,000 products today ahead of Black Friday – here’s the best deals

CURRYS PC World has slashed the prices of thousands of products - five DAYS before Black Friday.

The retail extravaganza, which started in the US, always falls on the last Friday in November but in recent years shops have begun discounting items ahead of the big day.

Currys PC World kicked off its sale last week, with its "why wait deals", which included top brands like Kitchen Aid, HP and JVC.

And today it has launched its big Black Tag promotion.

The retailer said that over 4,000 products will be on offer over the Black Tag period with savings of up to £500 and same day delivery on thousands of top brands.

Shoppers will be able to snap up offers from Samsung, Dyson, Google, Lenovo and LG.

On top of this the retailer will be releasing a new set of "best-ever deals"; on Friday November 24 - Black Friday itself - with selected deals going online from midnight.

All deals will be available online from 6am and in-stores from 7am across the UK.

Although it might be tempting to dive in and snap up loads of items on Black Friday - make sure you research the items you want to buy and find out the cheapest price.

Consumer group Which? found that 60 per cent of products discounted on Black Friday were cheaper or the same price at other times during the year.
