Currys PC World has slashed prices on 4,000 products today ahead of Black Friday – here’s the best deals
CURRYS PC World has slashed the prices of thousands of products - five DAYS before Black Friday.
The retail extravaganza, which started in the US, always falls on the last Friday in November but in recent years shops have begun discounting items ahead of the big day.
Currys PC World kicked off its sale last week, with its ";why wait deals", which included top brands like Kitchen Aid, HP and JVC.
And today it has launched its big Black Tag promotion.
The retailer said that over 4,000 products will be on offer over the Black Tag period with savings of up to £500 and same day delivery on thousands of top brands.
Shoppers will be able to snap up offers from Samsung, Dyson, Google, Lenovo and LG.

IT might be tempting to dive in and snap up LOADS of items on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but here’s how you can guarantee you’re getting a good deal.
- PREPARE Make sure that you do your research BEFORE Black Friday hits. Research the items you want to buy and find out the cheapest price. Websites like PriceSpy, PriceHistory and CamelCamelCamel will give you historical data on prices so you can see how much you should pay.
- SAVE Add items to your online shopping basket or save the links to your bookmarks to revisit on the day.
- GET FOLLOWING Follow your favourite shops on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and sign up to its deals newsletter to get the latest on any offers. We post the best deals in our too.
- EARN CASHBACK Check websites like Quidco and TopCashback BEFORE you place your order. Cashback websites PAY you to shop. All you have to do is click through their links and the money is added to your online account, usually within 14 days
On top of this the retailer will be releasing a new set of "best-ever deals" on Friday November 24 - Black Friday itself - with selected deals going online from midnight.
All deals will be available online from 6am and in-stores from 7am across the UK.
Although it might be tempting to dive in and snap up loads of items on Black Friday - make sure you research the items you want to buy and find out the cheapest price.
Consumer group Which? found that 60 per cent of products discounted on Black Friday were cheaper or the same price at other times during the year.
