Black Friday 2017 deals start a WEEK early as Amazon, Currys PC World, Argos, Halfords and Morrisons trigger fortnight of discounts

SHOPS have started Black Friday sales a WEEK early with many choosing to spread discounts over a fortnight, rather than just one day.

The retail extravaganza started in America and is always the last Friday in November but in recent years shops have begun discounting items ahead of the big day.

This year, big names including Amazon, Argos, Currys PC World, Halfords and Morrisons have already started cutting prices.

Amazon, which started its Black Friday sale today, is spreading out the price drops over 10 days.

These will include flash sales, known as Lightening Deals, and it also gives Amazon Prime members early access.

While Argos' flash sale starts today and runs for five days. It will include 20 per cent off toys, electricals and gadgets.

This is a pretty good deal from Amazon. It's the lowest price it has ever sold the TV for, according to CamelCamelCamel.com, which tracks the retail giant's prices.

The previously lowest price as £534.97 and on average it usually costs £579.

This is the lowest price the coffee machine has ever been sold for, by Amazon.

Previously, back in November last year, it went for £132.29 and on average it costs £155.14.

So, if you're in the market for a coffee machine it's a pretty good deal.

The bottle of fizz from Morrisons is only £1 more expensive than a normal size bottle of plonk by the same brand.

You can buy a bottle of fizz from Asda for £5 - but theres no fun in that.

You'll have to be quick to grab the Black Five Days deal as it's only available between November 15 and 26.

Halfords has already started its Black Friday deals, including this kids bike.

Some of the discounts are pretty heavy stock, so it's worth checking out.

Argos is running five days of deals from today, knocking 20 per cent off hundreds of deals, toys, electricals and gadgets.

Other items in its sale include a Sony Smart TV, which is down to £476 to £529.

Its also slashed the price of its Nutrillet Pro Deluxe, £89.99 down to £71.99.

Currys PC World started its two weeks of discounts on Monday.

The deals include a range of popular products and top brands, from Samsung TV’s to KitchenAid cake mixers and HP laptops.
