B&M’s new Xmas decoration range looks just like M&S’ – but they’re almost a third of the price
BUDGET homestore B&M has launched a range of affordable Christmas decorations where prices start as low as £1.49.
And what's better is that they're similar to ones from posh supermarket Marks and Spencer but cost a fraction of the price.
Everything from the B&M range adds up to £55.43 - which is £89 cheaper than if you bought similar decorations from M&S.
When purchased altogether, the Christmas decorations from M&S would set you back over £144.
The budget line from B&M means that you can decorate your house for the festive period for less.
One of the best deals from B&M is for a pack of six ornate baubles that costs £1.49, whereas a similar looking Baroque Beaded Glass Bauble from M&S costs £3 for one.
Prices in the B&M range start at £1.49 for a hanging snowflake and the most expensive item is a 6ft long pre-lit snowy garland.
According to B&M the comparisons are "almost identical" but there are a few differences on some of the products.
Whilst the Sun Online hasn't seen any of the products up close, we can say that from the pictures they give the posher decorations a run for their money.
Light-up Star
The light-up star if perfect for sitting on a shelf or table and shows the silhouette of a Christmas scene when lit.
Although shape of the products are similar the actual scenes are different, with the cheaper version showing a romantic forest picture whilst the one from M&S is a homage to the nativity.
But the one from B&M costs £6.50 less.
Hanging light-up star
Unlike the one from M&S, you can buy the hanging light-up star from B&M on it's own, whereas you have to buy them in a pair from M&S.
Even if you bought two from B&M, you would only spend £11.98 for the pair - which is still at least £7.50 cheaper.
Silver snowflake
You can buy a dazzling silver, glitter snowflake to hang on your Christmas tree from B&M for just £1.49 each.
That's £11 cheaper than a similar one from M&S - although it's worth noting that the posher one is decorated elegantly with beads and not glitter.
Ornate baubles
If you're trying to achieve a glamorous look for your Christmas tree this year then these ornate baubles from the budget retailer should do the trick.
They come in a pack of six and cost less than £3 - which is the price for just one, similar bauble from M&S.
Silver lantern
Winter is the perfect time to brighten up your home with the glow from a candle and a lantern is the safest way to keep it.
A large chrome plated lantern will set you back £12.99 for one from B&M, whilst a slightly smaller silver one from M&S will set you back twice as much.
Sparkle glitter star
Even though the budget retailer reckon that these products are "almost identical", we can point out the obvious differences here.
They may both be silver hanging stars for the Christmas tree, but the design is quite different mainly because one has "wish" written across the middle.
But if you're not bothered about that then you could save yourself £6 with the one from B&M.
6ft Pre-Lit Snowy Garland
The festive garland from B&M comes with berries and cones, and can be wrapped along the fireplace or around your door.
Although it looks similar to the one from M&S, it comes with just 25 LEB bulbs whereas the upmarket garland comes with 35.

Last week, DreamToys released its top toys list and many of this season must-haves are pretty pricey.
So B&M released their own take on the must have Christmas toys, with almost identical playthings starting at £2.99 each.
