When's the last posting date for Royal Mail Santa letters?

The last date letters can be received by Santa this year is TODAY (Saturday, December 9) so it's best to act soon to ensure he has time to respond.

This time of year is a busy one for Royal Mail, so a 65p first class stamp may be best unless you act early and opt for a 55p second class stamp instead.

Be sure to include a stamped envelope bearing your child's full name and address too - it helps Santa to easily reply at his busiest time.

It was 1963 when Royal Mail first started helping Santa add some extra magic to children's Christmas.

And this year they will be working hard again to help bring added festive magic.
