Nando’s has launched its own delivery service and it’s a game-changer
The service is currently only available on a trial basis, but you can check if your area is covered - and it might be cheaper to use Deliveroo
NANDO'S has launched its own delivery service, meaning you can now enjoy Peri-Peri chicken without having to leave your house.
The nation’s most popular provider of Portuguese-style chicken dishes is currently trialling out the service in 34 restaurants across the UK.
The new locations in London include London Bridge, Clapham, Kilburn and Kensal Rise.
Outside of the city, the service is now available in Manchester and Sheffield among others.
It is worth noting that the chicken-chain previously used delivery app Deliveroo for the same service in a few of its branches.
So when combined with the existing Deliveroo sites, Nando's is now offering delivery from 69 restaurants nationwide.
Customers will be charged a standard £2.50 delivery fee when ordering directly from Nando's. For orders less than £15, an additional £2 surcharge will be added.
Deliveroo charges £2.75 for delivery, so if you're putting in a hefty Peri-Peri order then there really isn't much in it.
Chicken fans who can get Nando's delivered have already taken to Twitter to review the new service and opinions are fairly mixed so far.
One Twitter wrote: "@NandosUK very impressed with nandos delivery service! 20 mins and dinner at the door."
Another one added: "Nando’s delivery is a takeaway night game changer."
But others were left disappointed by their food.
"First attempt to order @NandosUK delivery was a FAIL! Peri-processing for 10 mins then told to just re-do it when i called! #NoHelp," one customer wrote.
"Order Nando's takeaway for delivery 25 minutes late and only one side hot the rest was lukewarm very disappointed," another one added.

Last month, the chicken chain announced the arrival of a new Fino Pitta as well as two new burgers for vegetarians and the hottest ever sauce, the Vusa Perinaise.
Meanwhile, the Veggie Burger, the Fino Coleslaw and the Fino Platter all disappeared from the menu – and customers were not happy about it.
Earlier this year, KFC partnered with food ordering app and website Just Eat to offer deliveries from around 30 Greater London branches.
It came after, KFC rival Burger King rolled out home delivery service to 34 more restaurants.
McDonald’s partnered with UberEat to also bring its own new delivery service to the UK this summer.
