THE wait is over - this year's Argos Christmas advert has finally dropped.
But what do we know about the festive advert and when was it released?
Argos launched its Christmas ad campaign on Friday 3 November, with the clip appearing during ITV's Emmerdale and Gogglebox on Channel 4.
In the 60 second clip, called "Ready for Take-off", Argos flaunts its commitment to speedy delivery and its Fast Track delivery service.
The ad is set in a magical distribution centre, where a team of elves can be seen scrambling to get toys out to children in time for Christmas.
Last year it was released on November 4, so their 2017 offering comes a whole day earlier this time round.
Set in a Christmas distribution centre, the ad tells the story of a quick-thinking elf who saves a child's Christmas.
He clocks a misplaced robotic puppy wandering the aisles, and scans it to see which kid's stocking it's destined for.
But gifts for Tom, the toy's rightful owner, are moments away from departing without it, leading to a mad dash to get these in time.
The high-energy chase across the warehouse ends with the toy making it on board the futuristic sleigh just in time for take off.
Argos is adding a whole new element to this year's festive offering by giving the chance for your child to appear in the televised clip.
From Tuesday, November 7, parents can submit an image of their child to Argos via Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #ReadyForTakeOff.
Three lucky winners will be selected to appear on national TV in the clip for a whole day each, on Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November.
The popular high street retailer's ad showed five brightly coloured Yetis ice skating down the street in London.
As they whizzed through the capital they admired a number of Argos' signature Christmas products including fitness watches, Furbies and iPads.
As the fluffy creatures careered through the streets, they were supported by a soundtrack of "What's This?" from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas.
In a statement Argos said: "The light-hearted and entertaining advert (which adds to predictions of the end of so-called Christmas "sadvertising") has been designed to bring some much-needed festive joy."
