COSTA could be about to make your Monday morning caffeine fix much more satisfying.
The coffee chain will today be handing out free coffees in 2,000 of its stores across the UK.
To claim a drink, customers will just need to bring a takeaway coffee from any food or drink chain excluding Costa.
You'll be then available to swap it for one of the chain's primo-size coffees of your choice including Americano, Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino, Espresso, Cortado or Mocha.
Customers can customise their drinks with a shot of their favourite syrup and/or an extra coffee shot at their request for no extra cost.
The promotion comes as part of Costa's #CrimesAgainstCoffee campaign, a one-day coffee swap which aims to fight mediocre coffee.
Jason Cotta, UK & Ireland managing director at Costa said he is "immensely proud" of everything the coffee chain has done to raise standards of coffee across the UK.
He added: "We take issue with average coffee being poured across the nation by other companies, as it’s the great British public who suffer from average coffee day in, day out.
