Co-op has a new £6 dinner meal deal and it looks MEATY
The new Mix and Match Meal Deal for Two means you can get a main and two sides for just £6 - and save nearly £4 on the most expensive combinations
A NEW mix and match meal deal from the Co-op could see you save nearly £4 on dinner for two.
The deal lets you pick a main and two sides for just £6 which could make significant savings compared to if you bought them separately.
The food included in the deal is a range of easy to cook meals which feed two people, where you buy the main dish and sides individually.
If you bought the most expensive combination separately - the Co-op Southern Style Chicken 390g and two lots of Co-op Dirty Fries 330g - it would cost you £9.98 all together.
But under the deal, you'll be able to get the meal for two for just £6. That's £3.98 less than if you'd bought them separately.
On their own, the mains usually cost £4 each and as well as the Co-op Southern Style Chicken, they include Co-op Gammon & Pineapple Steaks, Co-op Chicken Mini Roast, Co-op BBQ Rib Rack and the Co-op West Country Cider Half Bird.
The price of the sides range from £1.50 to £2.99 - the Co-op Dirty Fries being the most expensive.
Healthier side options are also included in the deal, like the Co-op Crispy Potato Slices, Co-op Mach Potato, Co-op Babyleaf Salad and the Co-op Green Veg Medley.
Unfortunately, if you're a veggie then you won't be able to take advantage of the deal which features only meaty mains.
Each dish comes in a foil tray that isn't microwavable, but can be conveniently heated up in the oven.
The Co-op's deal doesn't hang around for long though as the offer ends November 7.
