Aldi’s Christmas sandwiches are coming back to stores sooner than you think
The budget supermarket's festive sarnies will be back in stores on November 6 and at £1.69 a sandwich, they won't break the bank either
IT may only be October but the countdown to Christmas has already begun - and it starts in your lunch break.
Christmas inspired sandwiches have already hit shelves in Boots and Marks & Spencer, and Aldi are just about to launch theirs too.
From November 6, you'll be able to get your hands on Aldi's Deep Filled Festive Sandwiches that come in three flavours.
Hardcore carnivores will be tempted by the meat fest that is the Turkey Feast with pigs under blankets, crispy bacon, stuffing and cranberry sauce.
But if you're hoping to watch your waistline over the winter months then this sandwich might not be the best thing for you.
At 528 calories for the Turkey Feast with Pigs under Blankets, it's equal to two and a half Mars bars.
According to the budget supermarket, the Ham Hock, Farmhouse Cheddar and Plum & Apple Chutney is "the one" for lunchtime revellers who enjoy alternative Christmas flavours.
This meaty number contains less calories than the turkey feast, at 468 calories.
Aldi haven't forgotten about vegetarians, who have been catered for with a Brie & Spiced Cranberry Chutney, which combines creamy brie, delicious cranberry chutney and spinach.
The sandwiches only cost £1.69 each, which is significantly cheaper than the Boots range where the sarnies cost between £2.50 and £2.75.
But unlike the Boots range, the Aldi sandwiches aren't part of a Meal Deal offer, which costs you £3.39 (£3.89 in London) for a main, drink and a snack in Boots.
It's not just festive sandwiches that have been appearing in shops three months before Christmas day.

Eagle-eyed M&S shoppers spotted that the posh supermarket has also started selling cards and decorations too.
The official launch date of the shop's Christmas stock is November 1 but it has already started rolling out the range in some of its bigger stores.
