And some of the companies with happy employees who made it onto the list are hiring so you can get involved too.

Energy consultant Northern Gas and Power came out on top, thanks to their record of promoting and developing their employees skill set, which the company puts down to helping boost productivity and morale.

Hospitality tech firm, Fourth, came in second place, whilst the software consultancy Equal Experts came in third.

The firms were scored based on reviews posted by current and former employees on jobs website Glassdoor, in a joint study with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Social media giant Facebook wasn't on the list last year, and made it into eleventh place on the 2017 list.

Facebook put their success down to adopting a "very flat" culture which they use to describe the way they have moved away from "lateral" management.

After slipping out of the top ten on last year's list, Google didn't even make it into the top 20 employers this year, and neither did tech giant, Apple.
