John Lewis is selling giant personalised Kinder EASTER eggs for Christmas – and they cost £7.50
KINDER fans will now be able to get their hands on GIANT chocolate eggs this Christmas - and they'll even be able to put their name on it.
The sweets treats, which weigh 100g or five times the traditional version, usually hit the shelves around Easter.
But fans will be happy to see them back just in time for the holiday season.
Starting from today until Christmas, shoppers will be able to get their favourite treats at the Kinder workshop at the John Lewis store on Oxford street.
The workshop will also enable customers to get a free gift box customised with the name of their choice - making it the perfect present for Kinder fans.
Children (and adults) everywhere might be excited to know that these eggs are themed and come with toys.
You'll get a choice between three Christmas friendly characters - a penguin, a reindeer or a snowmen.
As with the change in size, the price has not stayed the same as the regular and smaller eggs.
Giant Kinder eggs usual cost between £5 and £10 depending on where you buy them but at John Lewis it will cost you a hefty £7.50 (including printing your name - or the name of your loved one - on them).
The traditional Kinder egg, costs about 80 pence and weight 20g.
If personalised packaging is not your thing, the giant 100g egg will also be available at Tesco starting from October.
The John Lewis Christmas Market, which just opened today, is showcasing a 19-foot wall of tinsel and atrium featuring more than 45,000 LED lights.
Shoppers will also be able to get their hands on Twinkly, a multicolour Christmas lights chain, controllable by your phone, which allows you to pimp up your tree with a range of built-in animations and effects.

The retailer also recently launched the Residence - an almost fully-functioning apartment in three of their stores – Oxford Street, London, Liverpool and Cambridge – for customers who want to try before they buy.
Sadly, despite being valued at £2 million by Savills estate agents – thanks to its central London location and high-quality decor – the apartment doesn’t have a toilet or bathroom.
