Aldi is launching autumn-scented tin candles which look just like Lily Flame’s… and they’re £6.16 cheaper
The budget-friendly supermarket is releasing the £2.79 look-a-like candles as a specialbuy in stores this Sunday
IT looks like summer is well and truly over, so why not celebrate the new season with these autumn-scented candles from Aldi?
The range of tin candles, which retail at £2.79 each, are a dead-ringer for Lily Flame's - but £6.16 cheaper.
The Aldi candles come in three shades - yellow, green and pink - with each releasing a different scent as they burn down.
Shoppers can choose between Autumn Garden, Moonflower & Amber and Velvet Rose.
The tin candles are an Aldi specialbuy and go on sale this Sunday, so you'd better be quick if you want to get your hands on one.
The supermarket is also selling jar candles, which have been likened to the popular Yankee ones.
Their Scentcerity Autumn Jar candles come in the same fragrances as the tins and also cost £2.79 each.
A small Yankee candle usually retails at £8.99, so the budget version truly is a bargain.
It's not the first time Aldi has successfully marketed a copycat scented candle.
In March it launched a range which the supermarket claimed smelt exactly like the posh Jo Malone candles.
The products flew off the shelves, with Aldi reintroducing the popular collection in its stores in July.
On a roll, last month it launched a new range of Jo Malone-inspired diffusers in three scents - Lime, Basil & Mandarin and Pomegranate Noir - for just £3.99 each.
