Apple iPhone 8 or X 2017? Here’s how to pre-order the cheapest mobile phone contract and get cashback ahead of its release
Apple will spill the beans on its new handset today at 6pm (UK time)
THERE is just a few hours left until Apple dishes the dirt on its latest handset.
We still don't know what the tech giant is launching, but rumours suggest there will be a high-end wireless iPhone X as well as an iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
Plus all the usual updates to its operating system and other snazzy things it's working on as part of its quest for world domination.
Other features could include a 3F camera, an infinity screen to rival the Samsung S8 as well as free Airpods for every buyer, when it is unveiled at Apple's headquarters in Silicon Valley.
Rumours also suggest that this could be the most expensive iPhone ever, with some estimates putting a handset at around £1,000.

Work out the total cost of the contract to see if it’s a good deal
Mobile firms are clever. They know that people want to get the latest smartphone as soon as possible and will offer you a price that seems manageable.
But when you add this up and see how much it will cost you over the entire contract you see how much they are really charging you.
For example, a network offering you a £45 a month contract over 24 months with an upfront cost of £99 and that adds up to a total cost of £1,179.
Once you minus the cost of the handset (£1,179 - £599) you will see that you’re really paying £24.16 a month for your contract.
Do this for each contract that you’re considering to see how much you’ll pay each month to see if it’s a good deal or not.
Get over £100 cashback on your contract
Cashback websites, such as and , pay you when you click through them and purchase something.
Your transaction is tracked and once it has been approved by the retailer it is added to your cashback account.
You can get the cash paid directly into your bank or Paypal account once you’ve earned more than around £5.
How to get up to £455 cashback on your old handset
IF you've got an old handset lying about then it's worth checking whether you can cash it in.
Recycling websites offer customers cold hard cash in return for their mobile phone.
The newer the handset, the more money you'll make. For example, the iPhone 7 currently gets around £455.
You'll get more money if you've got the charger and it's in good condition.
You can compare prices using MusicMagpie.com or SellYourMobile.com.
The sites are free to use but they have premium options which give users access to exclusive cashback rates and faster payments.
Quidco and Topcashback are being tight-lipped about what deals they'll have but when the iPhone 7 launched it was possible to get over £100.
A spokesperson from Quidco told us that they have "something special" up their sleeves, so we'll update this article as soon as we can.
It’s important to note that you should never sign up to contract just to earn cashback. Find the right deal for you and then check to see if you can get cashback on it.
