You can now buy houmous with Nando’s PERi-PERi drizzle from Tesco
Lunches for houmous lovers is about to get a whole lot spicer as the Portuguese restaurant chain launch their own line of chickpea dip
TRUE fans of Nandos PERi-PERi sauce will be excited to know that the restaurant chain have launched a houmous dip complete with its famous drizzle - and you can buy it from Tesco.
The creamy chickpea based dip comes with a 20ml bottle of PERi-PERi Drizzle and people are encouraged to mix the sauce into the houmous themselves, in order to get just the right amount of spice.
The new dip is suitable for vegetarians, although those who suffer from nut allergies will want to steer clear as the dip does contain sesame seed paste.
According to Nandos, each pot contains four portions, but foodies keen to watch their weight should know that each serving contains 135 calories.
Tesco advises fans of the smoky PERi-PERi oil unique to the Portuguese chicken restaurant, that the dip is ideal when spooned over warm pitta, or accompanying fresh bread, potato wedges and vegetables.
The dip is usually priced at £2 a pot but is currently on offer at Tesco and is available for £1.50.

Nandos is famous for it's per-peri flavouring, but it's not the first time the restaurant has made it available for people to take home.
Earlier this year, the restaurant chain released three new condiments, including their own take on mayonnaise blended with PERi-PERi sauce, named PERinaise.
