Aldi’s new lighting range looks almost identical to ones from John Lewis but costs more than HALF the price
The range will be available online and in stores from September 17 and include savings of up to 96 per cent
ALDI copycat John Lewis lamps are back in stock – but this time there are LOADS to choose from.
The budget supermarket - famous for its copycat versions of luxury products - is launching a whole new lights range, heavily inspired by John Lewis collection but for a bargain price.
The range, which will be available online and in stores from September 17, includes several stylish floating ceiling pendants as well as a table and a floor lamp with saving of up to 96 per cent compared to John Lewis’ original collection.
One designer black ceiling pendant from the budget retailer is available for just under £35 – a whopping £760 cheaper than the original Tom Dixon Stout Beat from John Lewis.
Shoppers can also get their hands on Aldi’s geometrical floor lamp which costs £49.99 or a whole £80 less than the original.
Meanwhile, Aldi’s wire table lamp – which the retailer says is the perfect way to attain both style and comfort at home – is selling for £16.99 or 58 per cent cheaper than similar model at John Lewis.
As its part of Aldi’s “specialbuys” it means there is a limited amount of stock and once the item is sold out there’s no guarantee it will come back into stores again.
Of course, we're not saying that the collection is the same quality as the one from the cult retailer but if you're looking for discount versions to re-decorate your home it might be worth checking out Aldi's offering.
Earlier this year, The Sun Online revealed an Aldi floor lamp that looked almost identical to one sold by John Lewis but costs less than half the price.
While its range of hampers last Christmas looked very similar to those from luxury retailer Fortnum & Mason - but with a price tag that was £126 cheaper.
BAKE OFF Lidl and Aldi spark start Bake Off war with its cut price copycat mixers – but which is best?
More recently, it launched a Great British Bake Off inspired baking range, which includes a stand mixer for £64.00 - six times cheaper than a Kitchen Aid.
But rival Lidl beat Aldi’s offer by releasing its own kitchen range with a stand mixer for £15 less.
