Aldi’s Jo Malone copycat diffusers are being sold on eBay for THREE times their original price

But the diffusers are still available to buy in Aldi stores, costing £3.99 each

CHEEKY eBay sellers are trying to flog Aldi's Jo Malone copycat diffusers for THREE times their original price.

But savvy shoppers can still pick up the posh air fresheners in Aldi stores for just £3.99 each.

The budget supermarket launched the range of diffusers earlier this week.

The 100ml pots come in in three scents - Lime, Pomegranate Noir and Lime, Basil and Mandarin - and are very similar in appearance to those sold by Jo Malone, which cost a whopping £37.50 each for the same size.

There's no doubt that they've been popular with shoppers, with many heading to their local store yesterday to nab one.

But some eBay sellers have been chancing their arm by listing the popular product as "sold out", in bid to flog them for up to £12.

Aldi confirmed to The Sun Online that the diffusers haven't sold out.

In fact, a spokesperson said: "The Luxury Reed Diffusers are a core range so they are available in all stores for good, they will never sell out like our Specialbuy ranges."

The supermarket has over 800 stores around the UK, find your local one on the .

The diffusers come just a few months after Aldi launched a range of Jo Malone inspired candles.

The candles - which Aldi claims smell exactly like posh ones from Jo Malone - were snapped up by shoppers and flogged on eBay for seven times their value.

But they are now also back on shelves as a core product due to their popularity.

It's not the first time Aldi has launched copycat versions of luxury products. It's really a core part of their business strategy these days.

Last week it launched a new Great British Bake Off inspired baking range, including a stand mixer that looks like a Kitchen Aid but is six times cheaper.

They also launched imitation Yankee Candle for £1.99 each, making them £7 cheaper than the official ones.
