First candles, now Aldi is going to sell Jo Malone copycat diffusers and they cost just £3.99 each

Customers will be able to pick up the Lime, Basil & Mandarin and Pomegranate Noir scented diffusers across all UK stores

ALDI has just launched a new range of diffusers and they look suspiciously similar to posh ones from Jo Malone but at a bargain price.

The budget supermarket's reed diffusers come in three scents - Lime, Basil & Mandarin and Pomegranate Noir - and will be available in stores across the UK from Tuesday September 5th for just £3.99 each for 100ml.

At just £3.99 Aldi diffuser range offers a saving of 89 per cent compared to Jo Malone

An additional Freesia & Pear flagrance will be released two weeks later on September 19.

At £3.99, the range offers a huge 89 per cent compared to Jo Malone's diffusers which cost £37.50 for 100ml each.

The items are likely to prove hugely popular with customers, who were already fans of the bargain retailer's Jo Malone inspired candles.

The candles, which Aldi claims smell exactly like ones from Jo Malone, were first launched on March 16, but soon disappeared from shelves after shoppers snapped them up.

Some who managed to get them were quick to profit - by flogging them on eBay for seven times their value.

They are now back on the shelves as a core product due to their popularity.

Earlier this week, the budget store launches a Great British Bake Off inspired baking range, which includes a stand mixer that is SIX times cheaper than a Kitchen Aid.

Last month, it also launched a range of retro kitchenware and it included a fridge that looked similar to an upmarket version but for half the price.

In June, it launched an imitation Yankee Candles at £1.99 each, making them £7 cheaper than the official ones.

Asda hit headlines earlier this week for hiking the price of their bananas to 76p a kilo, overtaking Waitrose as the priciest supermarket.

Meanwhile, Poundland is pricier than Waitrose in some 12 comparisons done by the Sun Online, while Aldi charges more than Ocado.
