They cost £5 each and come with an indoor plant.

A post on Morrisons official Facebook page has already been liked by over 1,300 people.

Customers have been sharing pictures of the dino planters in their new home habitats.

One said on Instagram: "I'm a bit chuffed with these", while another added: "The best thing I've ever bought from a supermarket".

But one customer pointed out on Facebook that "plantosaurs" (yes, plant pots that look like dinosaurs) have been available on craft websites such as Etsy for sometime.

It follows a range of brightly coloured dinosaur plant pots which were on sale in its stores last year.

Annoyingly, you can't order them online so you'll have to pop down to your local to see if they are in stock.

And the supermarket is expecting them to sell out fast. A spokesperson from Morrisons told The Sun Online that they are "proving to be very popular" with shoppers.

CLOSING TIME When is Morrisons open over the August bank holiday?

Supermarket's are often overlooked for their home ware offering but they often sell cut-price versions that look just like expensive brands.

In February last year, Aldi caused a storm with its £50 floor lamp that looked identical to one sold by John Lewis for £120.

It followed on from the success of the Aldi’s marble and copper-effect vintage floor lamp last year, which was praised by interior styling experts for their luxury appearance and low price tag.
