Marks and Spencer has launched a new £10 meal deal – and it’ll be a favourite with takeaway fans
The deal allows customers to have an Indian fest without breaking the bank
MARKS and Spencer has brought back its popular £10 dine-in meal deal and it's going to be a favourite for customers looking to have an Indian feast without breaking the bank.
This time the flagship deal means foodies can cash in on an Indian takeaway, with two mains and three side dishes to pick up from August 16 to August 21.
Customers can chose between takeaway favourites such as chicken tikka masala and chicken piri-piri, but they can also opt for a lamb or prawn curry.
Among its side dishes, the posh supermarket is also offering an Indian starter selection.
This means that by selecting this option you’ll get a tempting selection of onion bhajis, hand-wrapped vegetable samosas and vegetable pakoras and you will still be able to select two other sides.
Customers favourites such as black dahl, pilau rice and vegetable samosas are also all included on the menu.
This offer is only available at M&S stores and products may vary depending on the outlet. The full .
The retailer has gained popularity for its “dine-in deal” that it tends to offer at key times of the year.
But it’s latest offering is not its best value one yet. Earlier this summer, M&S upped its game by putting more steak options on the menu for the first time ever.
At the time the mains included both a 21-day-matured Sirloin and a 21-day Rump steak.
The deal also meant customers could pick a main, a side and a dessert with a free bottle of wine.
Despite M&S' mouthwatering menu, other supermarkets have been offering “night-in” meal deals for less.

In June, Aldi launched a new range of ready-to-cook meal kits and the supermarket claims they taste as good as alternatives from posh rivals but for half the price.
Five meals for two people from Aldi’s new range costs £14.95 – a whopping 71 per cent cheaper than five boxes from Hello Fresh, which cost £52.
Sainsbury’s is also looking to tap into the meal kit market through to it’s tie-up with HelloFresh, which is selling £10 meal kits for two people in some stores.
Meanwhile, Tesco's offer allows customers to choose two mains and 2 side dishes for just £6.
Here's how to cut the cost of your grocery shop
WE spoke to Hannah Maundrell, editor of Money.co.uk, about how you can cut the cost of your shopping bills:
- Write yourself a list: Only buy items that you need. If it isn’t on your list, don’t put it in the trolley
- Create a budget: Work out a weekly budget for your food shopping
- Never shop hungry: you are far more likely to buy more food if your tummy is rumbling
- Don’t buy pre-chopped veggies or fruit: The extra they’ll charge for chopping can be eye watering
- Use social media: follow your favourite retailers to find out about the latest deals
- Be disloyal: You may want to go to different stores to find the best bargains
- Check the small print: It’s always worth checking the price per kg/lb/litre when comparing offers so you’re making a like for like decision as a bigger box won’t necessarily mean you get more
- Use your loyalty cards: Don’t be afraid to sign up to them all. They all work slightly differently – work out what bonus suits you better and remember to trade in your points for additional rewards
