Over 150 restaurant are taking part in the nationwide giveaway and to get your hands on the freebie, you will need to place an order between 12pm to 12am on Friday August 18.

This means you get can your mitts on some tasty fries from top restaurants including Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Bukowski Grill or Almost Famous for those based in Manchester, Leeds or Liverpool.

Customers will simply need to click on the "Free Fries Fry-Day" restaurant tag on the Deliveroo app. Once they’ve selected their meal, Deliveroo will give them the option of receiving a portion of free fries with their order.

You get one portion of fries per main ordered and customers can make use of the deal throughout the day.

This means that when ordering two burgers you can get two free portions of fries, both at lunch and dinner.

FINGER LICKIN' FREEBIE This is how you can get free KFC fries every Friday until November

But there is a small catch as the minimum spend needs to be £10.

Unwilling to do the minimum spend?

KFC is offering a free portion of its own salty fries with no other purchases necessary every Friday starting from tomorrow until November 3, if you order before 11pm.

To claim the freebie customers will need to download KFC's Colonel's Club app for free on Android or iOS.

But you might want to think twice before ordering from either firm.

This week an eyewitness caught a Deliveroo driver walking out of public toilets with the food bag used to deliver takeaway to customers.

The Sun Online also recently spoke to a Deliveroo driver who revealed that his six-day diary of a job is both demanding and dangerous.

Meanwhile, former KFC workers recently took it to Reddit to divulge shocking tales about the restaurant from questionable food safety to poor management.

Previously, we reported that high street chains including McDonald’s, KFC and Domino’s now charge for condiments that used to be free.
