Aldi is now selling musical instruments…including an acoustic guitar, keyboard and a ukulele

Budget supermarket launches £35 guitar in UK stores from Thursday

ALDI is launching a new range of musical instruments - including an acoustic guitar for just £34.99.

The budget supermarket will also sell ukuleles for £14.99 and an electronic keyboard for £69.99.

The range is available online now and will hit UK stores from Thursday.

The classic guitar comes in two sizes - 39 inch and 41 inch.

Other items in the range are a music stand for £9.99 and a universal guitar stand for £7.99.

Wooden percussion sets for kids priced at £9.99 include instruments such as tambourine, xylophones and maracas.

And there are books for learning how to play - each is a bargain £2.99.

The keyboard is an online exclusive so it will not be in supermarkets.

It is the latest in the budget German chain's special buys, which see punters flocking to stores every Thursday and Sunday morning when new stock is on the shelves.

The bargains are only available for a limited time and often sell out fast.

Last month Aldi brought back its £8 anti-ageing face serum, which flew off the shelves when first in stores.

The Lacura Caviar skin range, rivalling other products that sell for £300, sold out and ended up on eBay for double the price.

In June Aldi launched a "Big Daddy" rump steak weighing 16oz for just a fiver.

The store said it was “the biggest steak available on the market” and warned shoppers to get in quick before they sold out.

It also launched a range of copycat scented candles said to look and smell exactly like Yankee products but £7 cheaper.
