MORRISONS is selling a FOOT-LONG sausage roll that's double the length of Greggs' and costs just £1.
Weighing in at nearly half a kilogram the new jumbo-sized picnic favourite is believed to the biggest on the high street.
The giant roll has 1,650 calories - the equivalent of THREE Big Mac's from McDonald's. A standard sized sausage roll has 481 calories.
Morrisons' pie and pastry expert Philippa Shaw said: “We sell one million freshly baked sausage rolls a week but customers have asked for one that is even bigger.
"So we created this foot-long version.
"With the start of the football season approaching, we’re hoping our foot long sausage roll will be making its way to the top of the snack league table.”
The new roll dwarfs the supermarket's standard six-inch snack as well as Greggs' 85p offering.
But if you want to pick it up for just a pound be quick because the price will rise from £1 to £1.43 from August 14.

The snack, fit for a picnic, family, or very hungry customer, is baked in-store using seasoned pork wrapped in golden pastry.
In June, Morrisons launched a limited edition enormous 1lb, 100 per cent British beefburger with a tasty price tag of just £3.
