Deliveroo launches late-night delivery service so you can order a Burger King, KFC or Pizza Express at MIDNIGHT
More than 400 restaurant partners including Dirty Burger, Carluccios, Wagamama, Pizza Express and Snog frozen yoghurt have signed up to the new service
YOUR local kebab shop is no longer be your only option for a post-pub snack.
In the increasingly intense battle between food delivery services, Deliveroo has just announced it is extending it’s delivery hours in London.
For fans of late night treats, this means that from now on they can order the likes of Burger King, KFC, Dirty Burger and Pizza Express and have it delivered straight to their door as late as midnight.
Until now, the company has only delivered until 11 pm.
The takeaway delivery company works with more than 400 restaurants, allowing hungry Londoners to order food from a range of cuisines or opt for a snack like a Snog frozen yoghurt.
“We’ve added a late-night delivery service after overwhelming requests from hungry customers looking for their favourite bites late at night,” a spokesperson for Deliveroo said.
“We’re delighted we’ve been able to make it happen and with so many excellent partners on board that are available exclusively to Deliveroo customers,” he added.
The company also promised any order will be treated with “utmost respect and privacy”.
This means no questions will be asked about whether your entire bucket of KFC or a family tub of ice cream, is to share or just for you.
The news comes as Deliveroo is ramping up its battle with rival UberEats the food delivery service introduced by ride sharing giant Uber.
In May, the rival takeaway app launched a late night delivery service, allowing hungry Londoners to order food until 2 am.
Last month, Fast good giant McDonalds also revealed it chose UberEats as a partner to bring its own new delivery service to the UK, luring away Big Mac fans from Deliveroo.
