Holly said: “Using coupons is a brilliant way to save and it pays to be savvy no matter how much you are worth.

1. “See if you can use multiple voucher codes on the same offer, known as code stacking.
2. Always try expired codes — firms forget to cancel them.
3. Keep a wallet with your coupons in alphabetical order so they are easy to find
4. Approach companies via Twitter and Facebook and ask if they have any current codes.
5. When ordering online, always do a final check on Google to see if a new code has come up in the last few minutes. You’ll be surprised how often it has.
6. Use codesharing and deal hunter sites. Be nice and share what you have found and see what others have located too.
7. Remember to use cashback on top of your codes. You can usually reduce the price by a further five to ten per cent and the codes will still work
