Marks and Spencer’s £10 meal is back – and it might just be their best yet
The posh supermarket will be including a beef roasting joint - rubbed with sea salt and black pepper with a port and orange sauce - for the first time ever on its menu
MARKS and Spencer has brought back its popular £10 dine-in meal deal and it might be their best value offer yet.
The flagship deal means foodies can pick a main, a side and a dessert with a FREE bottle of wine from Wednesday 28 June to Tuesday July 4 with enough food for two eating dinner at home.
M&S upped its game by putting more steak options on the menu for the first time ever. The mains includes both a 21-day-matured Sirloin and a 21-day Rump steak.
The posh supermarket will also be adding a beef roasting joint - rubbed with sea salt and black pepper with a port and orange sauce - to its menu.
If your idea of the perfect meal doesn't include meat, a Mediterranean sea bass and Scottish Lochmuir salmon fillets are also included in the offer.
The gastropub gluten friendly beef lasagna, which the retailer says is one of its best sellers, is also part of the menu.
Veggies, meanwhile, can chose from a potato, spinach, plum tomato and feta frittata or a gastropub roasted aubergine with a tomato sauce, mozzarella shavings and tomatoes.
The retailer has gained popularity for its "dine deal" that it tends to offer at key times of the year.

M&S most recent offer was launched just in time for Valentine's Day, with a romantically themed menu on offer.
It also made a special offer for Chinese New Year with a takeaway that included the choice of two mains and three side dishes.
Despite M&S mouthwatering menu other supermarkets have been offering "night-in" meal deals for less.
Aldi has recently launched a new range of ready to cook meal kits and claims they taste as good as alternatives from posh rivals but for half the price.
Five meals for two people from Aldi’s new range costs £14.95 – a whopping 71 per cent cheaper than five boxes from Hello Fresh, which cost £52.
Sainsbury’s is also looking to tap into the meal kit market through to it’s tie-up with HelloFresh, which is selling £10 meal kits for two people in some stores.
Meanwhile, Tesco allows customers to choose two mains and 2 side dishes for just £6.
Here's how to cut the cost of your grocery shop
WE spoke to Hannah Maundrell, editor of Money.co.uk, about how you can cut the cost of your shopping bills:
- Write yourself a list: Only buy items that you need. If it isn’t on your list, don’t put it in the trolley
- Create a budget: Work out a weekly budget for your food shopping
- Never shop hungry: you are far more likely to buy more food if your tummy is rumbling
- Don’t buy pre-chopped veggies or fruit: The extra they’ll charge for chopping can be eye watering
- Use social media: follow your favourite retailers to find out about the latest deals
- Be disloyal: You may want to go to different stores to find the best bargains
- Check the small print: It’s always worth checking the price per kg/lb/litre when comparing offers so you’re making a like for like decision as a bigger box won’t necessarily mean you get more
- Use your loyalty cards: Don’t be afraid to sign up to them all. They all work slightly differently – work out what bonus suits you better and remember to trade in your points for additional rewards
