How to bag a free £10 burger when you dine in at GBK TODAY – but you’ll have to be quick
More than 4,000 Big Mouth burgers, which normally cost £9.95, are up for grabs on Monday
MEAT lovers can get their hands on a juicy burger for FREE at any Gourmet Burger Kitchen on today.
To celebrate the release of its new "The Big Mouth" burger, all 87 GBK restaurants will be handing out the burgers for free - but there are only 50 available at each branch, so they'll be given on a "first come, first served" basis.
There's no minimum purchase requirement, so you can go in, get your free burger, and leave without fishing out your wallet.
It's worth checking with the cashier whether they still have any of the 50 freebie burgers left before you sit down, or you could be stung with a charge at the end of your meal.
The Big Mouth burger consists of a 6oz beef patty topped with beer-infused cheese, bacon, ketchup and chilli mayo, all served in a brioche bun.
If you want any sides, such as chips or onion rings, or a drink, you’ll have to pay - but of course tap water is free.
Most GBK stores open at either 11:00 or 11:30 on Mondays, so if you want to be in with a chance of getting a free burger you should head down there for opening.
Last year, GBK was swamped with complaints after one of its publicity campaigns backfired.
Its adverts mocked vegetarians, with one saying: “Vegetarians – Resistance is futile,” next to a picture of a meat-filled burger.
Disgruntled members of the public also slammed a poster that said: “You’ll always remember when you gave up being a vegetarian.”
