The most energy zapping appliance in your home revealed as households face MORE rises to bills

THE most fuel zapping appliance around the home has been revealed with essential bills set to be hiked in months.
New data from shows how much the most common devices and gadgets cost to run on average under the current price cap.
It comes with households bracing for a host of essential bills to rise, including water, energy and council tax.
The consumer website found the washer dryer to be the most energy-guzzling in a list of 15 - costing on average £209 a year to run.
A household using the most expensive type of this appliance would have to fork out £313.
Which? said households can save money on their energy bills by using a separate washing machine and tumble dryer.
Meanwhile, Which? found the average cost of running an American-style fridge freezer was £110.
But households can cut costs using an integrated fridge freezer or freestanding model.
Both these types of appliances cost £68 or £76 a year to run, respectively, Which? said.
The average dishwasher will set households back £69 a year under the current price cap.
Meanwhile, the average double electric oven costs £56 a year to run compared to the average air fryer - £28.

The latest data from Which? comes with the price cap set to rise by around 3%, based on current predictions by energy consultants Cornwall Insights.
The price cap, affecting around 26million households on standard variable tariffs, is currently set at £1,738 a year, with a 3% rise meaning they would go up to around £1,790 a year.
Water bills across England and Wales are also set to be hiked by an average £31 per year between 2025 and 2030, starting from April.
The price hikes come following a price review by the regulator Ofwat, with water firms saying they need to increase costs for customers to pay for upgrades to networks and to meet environmental targets.
How much you will pay for your water bills from April depends on where you live though as firms can hike prices how they want.
United Utilities, which serves customers in Manchester and Liverpool, will see their bill rise by £143 over the next five years.
The average bill for customers is currently £442 but this will now rise to £585.
Meanwhile, South West Water, which covers areas such as Devon and Cornwall will see their bill increase by £113 over the next five years, from £497 currently to £610.
Council tax bills are also set to rise for households too, with some areas facing a 10% hike.
There are countless ways to save money on your energy bills. Implement all of them and you could save £100s each year.
If you've got a tumble dryer, it's worth ditching it and using a heated airer to dry your clothes instead.
Heated airers cost just pennies to run per hour whereas tumble dryers can cost as much as 85p an hour to run.
If you've got old-style halogen light bulbs dotted about your house, you'll be able to save money by switching them out for LED ones.
The Energy Saving Trust says switch all the bulbs in your home to LED lights and you could save £40 a year on your energy bills.
Make sure you're blocking any draughts around the home too - this will stop heat produced by your radiators from escaping.
