Tesco is trialling a big change to Clubcard Prices giving some shoppers even cheaper prices
TESCO has introduced a major change to Clubcard Prices which could see you save money on your weekly shop.
The UK's biggest supermarket has launched a trial offering customers tailored discounts based on their shopping habits.
The "Your Clubcard Prices" update has been rolled out to selected shoppers but not UK-wide.
Tesco's website says customers who are chosen to be part of the trial will receive new offers every Wednesday via the app.
Any deals are valid for seven days but shoppers can buy any of their discounted products multiple times within this period.
The offers are only valid in larger Tesco branches and not smaller Express stores, via Whoosh deliveries or Tesco's website.

The trial is also not running across Isle of Man branches.
Shoppers included in the trial will see Your Clubcard Prices added automatically to their accounts.
Customers then have to scan or tap their Clubcard app or physical card at the till and any discounts will be added.
Tesco declined to comment when asked how long the Your Clubcard Prices trial would last, whether it will be rolled out UK-wide and how many customers have been included.
A spokesperson said: "We are currently offering Your Clubcard Prices to a trial group of our Clubcard members, giving them offers on products they regularly buy at Tesco, in addition to the thousands of Clubcard Prices available to all Clubcard members each week."
Consumer expert Martyn James said the latest offer from Tesco comes as a host of retailers offer personalised discounts.
He added: "It's a good thing in the sense that your regular purchases are more likely to get discounted.
"But the downside is by targeting taste and preference purchases, supermarkets may encourage you to buy more things that are bad for you."
Tesco launched Clubcard Prices six years ago for its then 19million Clubcard customers.
The move saw it become the first major supermarket to offer rewards schemes customers lower prices at the till.
At the time, Alessandra Bellini, chief customer officer, said: "Clubcard continues to be the most rewarding loyalty scheme in the sector.
"As we are celebrating 100 years of great value, we wanted to say a big thank you to our millions of loyal Clubcard customers with special lower prices just for them."
There are currently 20million Tesco customers with a Clubcard.
You can sign up to the loyalty scheme for free by downloading the app on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Other supermarkets offering personalised offers
Tesco is not the first supermarket chain to offer loyalty card customers personalised offers.
Lidl customers signed up to Lidl Plus can get personalised vouchers based on what they buy.
This includes coupons offering them money off their future shops or free in-store items like bakery goods.
Sainsbury's shoppers with a Nectar Card also get personalised offers and discounts based on their spending habits.
Customers can see these discounts on their Nectar app and access them in stores or online.
Posh retailer M&S also offers shoppers offers and discounts based on what they buy through its Sparks Card.
Shoppers can get money off coffees bought in M&S cafes, discounts when buying certain products and free sweets and snacks.

What is Tesco Clubcard?
Here's how the loyalty scheme works...
You earn points as you shop, which can then be turned into vouchers for money off food or with Tesco's partners.
You earn one point for each £1 spent, and each point is then worth 1p.
So 150 points gets you £1.50 and you would have to spend £150 to get 150 points.
You need a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher.
Any vouchers are worth their face value when used in-store at Tesco.
But you can double their worth by spending them at one of the supermarket chain's partners.
There are over 100 partners you can spend your Clubcard points with, including the RAC, Disney+ and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.
Any vouchers transferred into Reward Partner codes expire after six months.
