Greene King has teamed up with former England rugby star Danny Care to mark 25 years of the Guinness Six Nations tournament.

To claim your free cold one, head to the bar and say: "Space for a pint?".

The offer includes Greene King IPA, Level Head, Flint Eye and Old Speckled Hen.

For those who aren't lovers of beer or are booze free, there are free cans and bottles of non/low alcohol and soft drinks up for grabs.

After claiming your free drink, you will be given a stamp by the bar staff.

Half of Brits will be heading to pubs up and down the country to watch the Six Nations.

Michelle West, Head of Sports Marketing at Greene King said: “We know what our rugby-loving Greene King guests value, and that’s the welcoming pub atmosphere on game day, where they can settle in with friends and family and enjoy the tournament while feeling the excitement of the competition building up."

Danny, who retired from international rugby last year, said: “It’ll be strange watching the England boys from the sidelines this time, but I believe they’re building slowly under Steve Borthwick and they’re in for a strong tournament.

“After a lot of reflection over the past few months, the time feels right for myself and team to retire from international rugby. The past 12 months have been arguably my favourite, making memories that my family and I will cherish and remember forever.

“I’m unbelievably proud to be English and to have had the privilege to represent this amazing country over the past 16 years.

“The team is in a really exciting place and there are some incredible young 9’s out there that I can’t wait to watch and support how they take the team forward.
