The hugely popular candles, which Aldi claims smell exactly like Jo Malone ones but at a 90 per cent discount, sold out soon after they went on sale last month.

They are part of the retailer's "Specialbuys" range and are usually hotly anticipated by shoppers.

But Aldi confirmed to The Sun Online that the candles have now been added as a core item to its homeware line, and they will be available on the  with ongoing stock.

They're are only available to buy online, but Aldi offers free standard delivery on all orders, so it won't cost extra to buy the candles on its website rather than in store.

The candles, which were created by the supermarket’s team of expert perfumers, come in three scents – Pomegranate Noir, Freesia & Pear or Lime Basil & Mandarin – weigh 290g and cost £3.99 each.

Aldi claims that they are comparable to posh brand Jo Malone which sells a much larger range of scents, including some which are similar to the discount supermarket – at least in name.

Aldi says its candles have a burning time of 48 hours.

The candles were first launched on March 16, but they soon disappeared from shelves after shoppers snapped them up in time for Mother's Day.

Some who managed to get them were quick to profit – by flogging them on eBay.

One user sold six of the candles for £43 - or £7 each, while another sold three candles for £33 - or £11 each.
