A FAMOUS TV chef is rolling back the years by offering 1975 prices at his restaurants to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic eatery.
Customers can enjoy luxury dishes such as lobster for just £2.80.
Owned by Rick Stein, The Seafood Restaurant chain is slashing its prices in a big 50th celebration.
Dishes are set to include shellfish soup (50p), chilled melon (30p), and brill, salmon and sorrel terrine (55p) to start, followed by grilled lobster (for just £2.80), seafood thermidor (£2.20) or Cornish bouillabaisse (£2.60) for mains.
Desserts are classically 70s, with treacle tart and cream (35p), and raspberry bavarois (30p) rounding out the meal.
However, drinks, including wine and cocktails, will remain at their 2025 prices.

Rick and his wife Jill first opened The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall, in 1975.
Over the decades, their venture has grown into a culinary empire.
Today, the family-run business includes ten restaurants, a pub, a cookery school, guest accommodations, and four shops, managed with the help of their sons Jack, Charlie, and Ed.

The Chef said: “Reflecting on the past 50 years, we’re so grateful to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey, from our loyal customers, talented team, and wonderful suppliers.
"We look forward to all the celebrations this year.”
Jill added: “Little did Rick and I imagine when we opened our doors in 1975 that we would still be here 50 years later, celebrating half a century of the iconic Seafood Restaurant.
"We hope to welcome you to join us in celebrating our Golden Year.”
The nostalgic 1970s prices will be available during lunchtime from February 6 to February 9.
The deal will be available at the flagship restaurant in Padstow, as well as at their sites in Winchester, Hampshire, Marlborough, Wiltshire, Sandbanks in Poole, Dorset, and Barnes in south-west London.
In a heartwarming gesture, 25 tables across the participating restaurants will be reserved for community nominations.
This initiative will allow people to nominate individuals who deserve to enjoy the discounted lunch as part of the anniversary celebrations.
This is just the start of the celebration, with a one-night-only Supper Club which will be taking place later in the month.
Rick added: 'It’s amazing to think that The Seafood Restaurant has been open for 50 years.
"This is a pretty big deal as far as restaurants are concerned and there are going to be lots of celebrations throughout 2025.
"Including me, returning to my roots as a DJ – back on the Purple Tiger decks for one night only."
