But it didn't take long for Michelle to suss her husband's secret out.

She revealed his first mistake; telling their daughter the Postcode Lottery were coming.

But Michelle needed further confirmation.

She recalled: "We were travelling back from seeing Sam Fender in Manchester and I had Fraser's phone while he was driving and when I went to search the last search was, 'what number called me' and it said People's Postcode Lottery."

Shortly after, their neighbour Julie came up to Michelle and started singing the Postcode Lottery song.

Michelle admitted Julie "let slip that she'd received a call from someone at the lottery".

Meanwhile Fraser was keen to surprise his wife and two kids Gracie and Alfie with boosting their upcoming holiday.

They had already booked the trip of a lifetime to Canada on Boxing Day where they'll travel to Canada's Lake Louise and Banff for a skiing holiday before flying to Las Vegas and then back home.

Fraser explained: "We're going on holiday to Canada on Boxing Day. It was my wife's 50th and my daughter's 18th this year.

"We'll fly to Vegas, then drive to LA in a convertible - it'll definitely be a convertible now - and we'll fly home from there."

Fraser also explained why he signed up for the Postcode Lottery in the first place.

He said: "My mum persuaded me to sign up for the lottery. She was already playing.

"This is amazing. It is incredible, fantastic. It's an incredible amount of money, not what I was expecting at all. I've never had anything like this in my life."

It comes after Fraser's home was struck by lightening 20 years ago and "all the roof tiles blew up and landed on the conservatory".

He added: "There was a massive hole."

Fraser thought he would have more chance winning the lottery than his house being struck by lightening.
