JUDY Garland’s red Wizard of Oz slippers have sold for a fantastical £25.5million.
The magical silk shoes, which transported Dorothy in the 1939 film, vanished for 13 years after they were stolen.
They are now the most expensive piece of Hollywood memorabilia ever after a phone bidder landed them at a London auction.
In the movie, Dorothy Gale is returned to Kansas when she clicks her heels.
The slippers, with Judy Garland’s name written inside, were stolen in 2005 from a Minnesota museum dedicated to the actress.
They were recovered in 2018 after an FBI probe.
