GREGGS has added four new items to its Christmas menu - but a festive favourite based on a classic chocolate is missing.
The beloved bakery announced that the brand-new treats, along with a returning classic, will be available in store and for delivery.
They include a star-shaped ginger biscuit, which is covered in milk chocolate and decorated with sugar sprinkles for £1.25.
The winter-spiced snack can alternatively be bought as a four-pack for £3.15.
Also joining the selection is a Christmas tree-shaped biscuit in the same flavour - and for the same price.
A brand-new Christmas bun will be available too - a vanilla bun dipped in fondant icing and topped with sprinkles along with a festive sugar paste decoration.

These are going for a modest £1 each - or £3.15 in a four-pack.
And, lovers of the Christmas Cake Slice can breathe a sigh of relief as the festive classic makes a return for £1.30 a slice.
The dried fruit cake is topped with a layer of apricot jam, almond marzipan and white icing.
All four menu items can be enjoyed as part of Greggs' Sweet Treat Deal - which gets you a sweet treat and a hot drink for £2.85.

Customers can choose from a range of Christmassy hot drinks to accompany their snack - including gingerbread-flavoured coffees, mint hot chocolate and orange hot chocolate.
However, a festive favourite based on last year's menu is nowhere to be seen.
The Terry's Chocolate Orange muffin was a hit with customers last Christmas, with one describing it on X as "banging".
Another said: "Yesterday I got myself a Greggs festive bake but it was the chocolate orange muffin that won."
Greggs has confirmed to The Sun that the muffin has been replaced this year with the Toffee Fudge Muffin which was launched earlier this month.
Luckily, chocolate orange lovers can still get their hands on a Terry's flavoured muffin at competitor Costa.
The £3.60 cake is filled with a chocolate-orange sauce in the centre, with a segment of the iconic treat placed on top.
Other Greggs news
The menu additions aren't the only festive surprise by Greggs this year, as the bakery also put out its first-ever Christmas advert - featuring Nigella Lawson.
The ad showed Nigella trying various items from the Christmas menu in her kitchen.
It premiered on November 4 across social media channels and is the first time that Greggs has ever made a Christmas advert.
It is set to an instrumental version of Carol of the Bells - a well-known Christmas carol.
It opens with Nigella returning home to a London townhouse decorated with a traditional Christmas tree decked in Greggs baubles.
In a scene lit by fairy lights, she notes that Christmas is her “favourite time of year” before tucking into a Greggs Festive Bake.
Describing the return of the eagerly anticipated festive favourite, Nigella describes it as a "rapturous riot of flavour" with a "succulent filling".
The advert parodies Nigella's famed use of superlatives, which viewers of her popular cooking shows will be familiar with.
The camera then pans over a table filled with Greggs goodies as Nigella narrates the items being showcased.
She describes "sweet mince pies, aromatic gingerbread lattes and gorgeous Christmas baguettes".
Eagle-eyed viewers will also spot a fan favourite item making an appearance on the festive spread - the Vegan Festive Bake.
The advert confirms that the savoury treat will be returning after customers were left fuming when it was removed from menus last year.

The film ends with Nigella preparing to sip a gingerbread latte while telling viewers: "The Gregg's Christmas menu is back. Bag some joy."
The advert was also an excuse for Greggs to launch festive menu additions a little early.
