Remember, you can find your nearest B&M branch by using the retailer's store locator tool on its website.

The boxes come with seven items to keep the kids busy and their excitement under wraps until the big day.

Inside are stickers, a colouring sheet, pencils, paper cup, a hot chocolate sachet, snow flake mallow and socks.

Another said: "So is this £3.99 for everything? That's so good!"

A third chipped in: "I got two today they are brill."

Of course, bear in mind you might not find one of the Christmas Eve boxes in your local B&M store.

Plus, you won't be able to get one delivered as B&M does not offer a delivery service.

Like with any product too, compare prices online to make sure you're getting the best deal.

Websites like Trolley, Price Spy and Price Runner are all worth using, while a quick click of the Google Shopping/Product tab will bring up how much retailers are selling a particular type of item for.

Of course, it's hard to compare prices for this Christmas Eve box because B&M is the only retailer selling it.

However, you'll be hard-pressed to find a box containing as much as the B&M one for a better price.

The Works is selling one for £3 but it's only got stickers inside, while Card Factory and Dunelm have some for £3 and £4 respectively, but they're empty.

How to save money at B&M

One ex-B&M manager said the best time to visit your local store is first thing on a Wednesday.

This is when staff slash items to as little as 10p to clear excess stock and make way for new lines.

Deals expert Tom Church urged shoppers to keep an eye out for red stickers products as well.

These are put on special buy products that have also been reduced in price.

It's worth downloading the B&M scanner app on to your smartphone for free too.

How to save money on Christmas shopping

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.

Limit the amount of presents - buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.

Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you're not having to buy multiple presents.

Plan ahead - if you've got the stamina and budget, it's worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.

Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you're not forking out more than you should though.

Buy in Boxing Day sales - some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.

Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.

Shop via outlet stores - you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.

They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.
