M&S brings back viral sell-out sweet treat that’s perfect for winter nights and shoppers are going wild
SHOPPERS are going wild after Marks and Spencer's announced the return of an indulgent autumn favourite for just £2.50.
As the dark and cold nights set in, M&S has sent foodies into a tailspin by bringing back their hugely popular Cinnamon Bun Mix.
The retailer promises shoppers that they can "enjoy freshly home-baked cinnamon buns without the hassle".
The £2.50 kit makes eight soft and chewy cinnamon buns drizzled with icing and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
All bakers need to do is add three basic ingredients to the mix before baking in the oven.
After it went viral last year, M&S took to Instagram to announce the return of the sweet treat, knowing it would get customers excited.
The grocery store posted a video of the mix and the final result saying in the caption: "Guess what’s BACK IN STORE?! Our Cinnamon Bun Mix!
"The ULTIMATE Autumn treat, simply add egg, butter and milk to the dough and cinnamon mix and bake.
"It’s the PERFECT cosy night in activity!"
The announcement sent customers wild with many already vowing to rush to their nearby M&S Foodhalls to find the mix.
Shoppers can also order it online at Ocado.
"WHAT A BLESSING!!!!!!" one hugely excited baker wrote in the comments on the post.
"OMG!!! running to the store! So excited they're back!" another said.
"Oh wow, definitely swinging by M&S on my way home tonight," a third added.
One delighted customer urged others to try them out after his family made and ate them all on the same day.
Some have previously compared the cinnamon mix to those made by Cinnabon which cost over £7.50 per bun, making the M&S baking kit a huge bargain.

As customers reacted to the happy news from M&S, some highlighted another "amazing" baked product on offer from the high street shop - the viral gingerbread cookies.
The sweet treat is going viral with TikTokers and Facebook users urging others to rush to their local M&S Foodhalls for the autumn-inspired cookies.
The retailer's £2.75 freshly baked Gingerbread and White Chocolate Cookies are proving to be a huge hit with shoppers this Christmas.
Marks and Spencer promises indulgence with their cookies "full of warming flavour and rich chocolate to create a melt-in-the-mouth taste."
If shoppers time their trip right, they can bag the cookies while they are still warm from the oven at the in-store bakery.
"These cookies have currently gone viral and we can see why!" NewsfoodUK declared on Facebook.
