BARGAIN hunters have been quick to share an iconic perfume dupe that could save shoppers nearly £70 - but you'll need to be quick before it disappears from shelves.

Found in B&M for just £3.99, the fan "favourite" eau de toilette "smells exactly the same" as the original.

Taking to Facebook, one eagle-eyed shopper posted a picture of the supposed duplicate item that could be perfect for those looking for reasonably priced gifts in the run up to Christmas.

Advertised on the B&M website while stocks last, those hoping to nab a bottle of the "elegant" and "romantic" fragrance may want to head to their local store to check shelves.

Boasting a "timeless feminine" allure, the Scent Favourites Scandale Femme comes in a 100ml stunning pink bottle shaped like a women's torso.

The post has already garnered social media attention with many suggesting the incredible find to be a Jean Paul Gaultier dupe.

Featuring the corseted feminine bust-shape, the dupe even seems to have replicated the bottle into a similar form.

The original was created in 1993 and boasts notes of sweet orange, pear and star anise.

Currently on sale at Perfume Price for £72.95, it seems to have been discounted from £104, meaning the dupe offers buyers an even greater saving.

A classic spray known for its feminine, floral and rich base, those using the signature scent may want to give the B&M offer a go.

One Facebook user commented: "I bought this the other day, it's amazing for the price and pretty much lasts all day, I love it."

Another wrote: "Good find x."

Someone else said: "Bought a couple of these the other day for my granddaughters, I'm sure they will love them."

Home Bargains becomes first store to drop £2.99 dupes of sell-out skincare brand & the full range will save you over £100

A fourth put: "My favourite too."

While another commented: "I'm gonna go and get some and see."

Shoppers heading to their local branch to check for stock might want to phone up ahead to avoid disappointment.

To find your nearest store head over to the B&M website.

Each store will have its own stock of the scents and these kinds of items tend to sell-out pretty quickly.

It's always worth phoning ahead to your local store to check how many they have available.

It's always worth having a sniff first to make sure you like the smell before purchasing.

As always, make sure to have a shop around before you commit to a purchase to make sure you're always getting the best deal.

Other perfume dupes

Bargain hunters have spotted two new mists at Poundland - and claim they smell just like Marc Jacobs.

The dupes from the brand Scentlis are called Pure Elegance and Bloom Body - both selling for just £1 for a 100ml bottle on Poundland's website.

One such shopper who bought the fragrances wrote on Facebook: "Got these today from Poundland and I cannot tell you enough how hey smell like Marc Jacobs."

Meanwhile, a young woman said she wanted new perfume, but couldn’t justify the price, so tried out the dupes from Home Bargains instead

Beauty fan Emily Megan Mays explained that she nabbed two of the perfume dupes from the high-street chain, for just £1.99 each, and was left stunned at how nice they smelt.

Thrilled with her cheap finds from Home Bargains, Emily took to social media, proudly showing off her bargain buys.

Posting online, Emily shared her clip with the caption "The BEST perfume dupes! Run, don't walk to Home Bargains".

The "Scentalis Luna Sparkle Eau De Parfum", an aromatic blend of fruity and floral scents, has been combined to create a dupe of the infamous £55 "Daisy" by Marc Jacobs.

Poundland describes the scent as: "An excellent choice for anyone in search of a special present or personal indulgence.

"Fragrant blend featuring fruity notes of pomegranate and yuzu, delicate floral scents such as peony, magnolia, and lotus, and musky undertones."

How to save money at B&M

Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app.

The scanner lets you see if an item's price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.

Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.

The app is free to download off the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store.

According to one ex-B&M manager, you'll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.

Here's how you can join the B&M bargain hunt:

  • Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
  • Once you've installed it on your device, click on the option labelled "more" on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page.
  • You'll then find an option that says "barcode scanner". Click on this and you'll open a camera screen.
  • Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check.
  • If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
  • You don't need to sign up to the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.
