Major supermarket slashes price of Quality Street, Celebrations & Heroes tubs as shoppers rush to nab deal

Members can pay a reduced rate for two tubs

SHOPPERS are rushing to buy tubs of chocolate after a major supermarket slashed their prices.

Quality Street, Celebrations, Cadbury's Heroes and Roses are going for £6 each at Morrisons, but the retailer is offering a deal for More Card customers who buy two tubs.

Those who are signed up for the scheme can pay just £8 for two of the Christmas choc tubs.

But it's important to note that there is a maximum of two per customer.

This means that with a More Card, you're paying 67p per 100g.

The offer was posted in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

In comparison TescoSainsbury's, Asda and Iceland are selling the classic chocolate box for £6.

Aldi is offering the tub for £4.49 and Ocado for £5.

Asda currently has a deal on the 300g of Quality Street pouches, making it cheaper than buying a 600g tub.

The current promotion is on offer to Asda Rewards members who can purchase two pouches for £4, making each pouch £2.

Asda is also selling 600g tubs of Quality Street for two for £9,

It means that two pouches are 67p per 100g, making it cheaper than the current two tubs which comes to 75p per 100g.

I bought eight tubs of Quality Street to see which flavours were the most common - and it's bad news if you're a green triangle fan

This means if you bought two pouches at Asda you'll be paying the same per 100g at both Morrisons and Asda - but at Morrisons, you have to buy two tubs to get the special price.

To find your nearest Morrisons or Asda, just simply head to the website and look for the store locator tool.
