You can now buy Baileys iced coffee in a can…and it’s just like an espresso martini
Baileys hopes to tap into the growing popularity of coffee with its new iced coffee range
BAILEYS has launched an iced coffee range, and it's sold in cans so that you can drink it up without fuss.
The 200ml cans come in two flavours - Baileys Iced Coffee Latte and Baileys Iced Coffee Mocha - and they each contain four per cent alcohol.
Fans of espresso martinis will probably like these. They taste very similar, with blends of Arabica and Robusta coffee with real milk, real cocoa - for the mocha flavour - and Baileys Irish Cream.
Because of the four per cent alcohol content, the tipple should be drunk responsibly.
They are available to buy in cases of 12 from most supermarkets around the UK at a cost of £1.90 per can.
Diageo, the company behind Baileys, said that the cans can be found in the iced coffee aisle in the supermarket, rather than the alcohol aisle.
It hopes to tap into recent growth in the iced coffee category, where it said sales were up 44 per cent over the past two years.

Sam Salameh, Baileys European marketing manager, said: “The popularity of coffee continues to grow, with over 18 billion cups consumed in Great Britain each year.
"As we continue to see how successfully Baileys works alongside coffee, and in serves such as the popular flat white Martini, we see the launch of the new iced coffee variants as a natural progression for the brand.
“The product will allow consumers to enjoy a mini moment of indulgence during casual get together with friends, both in and out of home, whilst offering a significant profit opportunity for retailers.”
Baileys Iced Coffee is also set to become the lead sponsor of Made in Chelsea for the next three series, which comes back to our screens on March 20.
The sponsorship is part of a wider reaching media campaign for the brand.
