Sharing the bargain he found, the shopper wrote on the B&M Scanner And Other Bargains! Facebook group: "Came across these bargains while out shopping in B&M."

The customer said he "had a shock" when he got to the till and noticed that the 15% off indoor furniture sale had also been applied on top of the app discount, with items originally costing £50 now scanning for just £1.70 or 85p each.

He also bought a set of two cane side tables, perfect to hold your indoor plants, for just £1 - down from £20.

Another said: "I went into B&M's yesterday & got 4 sun loungers £26 each down to £5 each.

"BARGAIN for next summer in the garden."

Someone else added: "I find bargains all the time just use the barcode scanner."

Many people tagged their friends on the post, alerting them of the bargain.

However, some seemed disappointed as they said they can never find such bargains in their local B&M stores.

One wrote: "Never get anything like that in our store, Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset."

Another person added: "We never get them in our area, the staff get first pick."

And one more asked: "Can you give me some places where you can find such opportunities?"

Bear in mind, if you're looking to snap up the stylish multi-section for £1, you might not find it in your local branch so cheap.

This is because often retailers reduce these items to clear stock in specific branches, meaning you might not find the same bargains as other people.

Since stock may vary at different branches, it's worth checking ahead.

Always remember to shop around when buying something like this as well as you might find it cheaper elsewhere.

You can use websites like Price Spy and Trolley to compare prices on thousands of products across different retailers.

The Google Product tab is helpful for running a quick scan across the internet too.

The savvy shopper, who goes by @nostalgia.2000s1 on TikTok, previously posted a video explaining shoppers can use the B&M scanning app to get money off their purchases.

The tool allows shoppers to discover discounted items before the staff has even reduced them.

The scanner lets you see if the item's price is cheaper than advertised on the shop shelf.

Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift, or they're labelled "big brands" and "big savings".

The scanner is completely free as well - you just need to download the B&M app.

According to one ex-B&M manager, you'll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.

This is when staff slash items to as little as 10p to clear excess stock and make way for new products.
