Costa isn't the only popular chain unveiling a brand-new autumn menu.

GREGGS

Greggs fans will be treated to a tasty autumn-inspired menu including the return of a Starbucks dupe.

The bakery chain has jumped on the Pumpkin Spice trend with a doughnut and latte in the popular flavour.

An All-Day Breakfast baguette has also been added to the menu for the late risers.

The sarnie is stuffed with omelette, sausage, bacon, cheddar and ketchup.

The famous sausage roll has stiff competition from the new Mexican-inspired delights, including a Mexican bean and spicy cheese flatbread.

The sizzling treat is made with mixed beans covered in a Mexican-style sauce and stuffed with peppers, sweetcorn, jalapenos and slices of cheddar.

Greggs' pumpkin spice latte will cost customers just £2.50 and if you'd like to have it iced, it is £3.

Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte, which is made with a spice blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and closes, is £4.65 for a tall size.

The salted caramel latte is also set to make a return in time for the cosy season.

There is also an orange mocha and orange hot chocolate that will be added to the menu.

For those with a sweet tooth, there is a Pumpkin Spice Latte

And if that wasn't enough, the chain has also launched a new topping for its pizza-sharing boxes.

BBQ chicken will be available, dripping with BBQ sauce.

This comes after Greggs upped the price of its much-loved sausage roll from £1.20 to £1.25.

Despite bumper profits, the chain says the increase is to cover higher wages for staff.

It comes after Starbucks brought back a seasonal favourite earlier than ever before.

STARBUCKS

The popular Pumpkin Spice Latte made its return on August 8.

The coffee chain also offers the drinks as iced beverages or blended in a Frappuccino, alongside the classic hot version.

Last year, the range officially launched on September 7, but Rewards members had early access to it starting from August 31.

Members got exclusive access to pumpkin spice beverages two weeks before anyone else.

Pumpkin spice drinks have a unique festive flavour since they are made with a spice blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves.

The drinks available today are:

  • Pumpkin spice latte (starting from £4.65 for a tall size drink)
  • Iced pumpkin spice latte (starting from £4.70 for a tall size drink)
  • Pumpkin spice frappuccino blended beverage (starting from £4.85 for a tall size drink)

All the drinks can be customised in several ways including a larger size and non-dairy milk alternatives.

Starbucks said the Frappuccino version is also available with a non-coffee base.
