According to the listing, the coin was sold on August 25 and drew in 6 bidders.

The design was created by Florence Jackson in 2009, a 9-year-old from Bristol who won a competition run by the popular kids TV show.

Her drawing, of a high jumper in mid-flight, was selected out of 17,000 entries.

Florence became the youngest person to ever design a coin.

The value can differ further based on the rarity and condition of the packaging, with Blue Peter coin packs, for example, likely to increase the price.

Change Checker's most recentsees the coin ranked 26th in the table of 50p coins, with 25 scarcity index points.
