Four insider tips to make big savings on your next Nando’s order
TAKE a bite out of your Nando’s bill with some tasty insider tips.
You can eat more spicy chicken for less by knowing how to order.
Follow these tips for some sizzling savings.
CHIP AWAY AT THE BILL: A simple saving if you are dining with someone else is to share a large portion of chips rather than buy two individual ones.
A large dish of fries is £6.75, while a small portion is £3.85, so you can save 95p by going large and splitting them with a friend.
SHARE AND SAVE: Carve more off the bill by sharing peri-peri chicken dishes. Instead of two portions of half a chicken with two regular sides for £14.65 each, get a whole chicken platter with two large sides, including fries, for £26.75 saving £2.55

The bigger your dish, the bigger the savings. A family platter, with two chickens and five side dishes, is £55, saving more than £10 on buying the items individually.
SOURCE YOUR SAUCE: You pay an extra £1 for some sauces on the Nando’s menu, including perinaise.
Instead, make your own. Ask for mayonnaise, which is free, and add peri-peri sauce from the restaurant.
If you are having a takeaway, keep a bottle of Nando’s Perinaise at home. Asda has it on offer at £1.75, was £2.25.
CHILD’S PLAY: Another takeaway tip is to order a Nandino’s meal. The dish, for children, costs £6.50 and can include a chicken pitta and two side dishes.
A regular chicken pitta costs £7.95, though comes with slaw and a different sauce. If the kids’ sides are smaller, you can always add another for £3.85 each.
SWEET SAVINGS: At the end of the meal, steer clear of the individual tubs of ice cream for £3.25. Have the bottomless soft swirl dessert with unlimited refills for the same price.
If you fancy a Pastel de Nata, the tarts cost £2.40 each. Share with others — a box of four costs £8.50, saving £1.10.
