MACCIES DUPE
In a short clip shared with the caption "Here's where I buy my McDonald’s stock from", the mother took her followers inside The Company Shop and claimed: “Yes, all the stock that I'm showing you is actually McDonald's stock - The Company Shop gets the stock directly from McDonald's.”
She found £5 bags of 20 iconic apple pies, which work out at just 25p per item - 94p cheaper than getting an apple pie directly from McDonald’s.
She also spotted camembert cheese bites, which were £2 for a 1kg bag.
As well as this, the mother found a 2.4kg bag of fries for only £2.50 and a 1kg bag of chicken selects, which were priced at just £4.
The mother explained that not only can you nab many of the classic McDonald’s items, but you’ll also be able to get your hands on the seasonal items and sauces too.
The mum then claimed: “The stock that's leftover gets sold to The Company Shop - the best thing about it is it gets sold at such a cheaper price.”
The content creator then headed to Heron Foods, another chain with a brilliant freezer section.
Not only did the foodie find chicken nuggets, but she also stocked up on hash browns too - a McDonald’s breakfast staple.
The bargain hunter praised the Heron Foods’ XSELL range, as she added: “Heron’s XSELL range is where loads of big companies sell seasonal items that they no longer need, or items that don't meet a certain weight requirement, or even might be a little bit funny shaped. McDonald's is one of these companies.”
When it came to the chicken nuggets, she expressed: “You can tell that they are [McDonald’s] because they are the same shapes that McDonald's use for their nuggets.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly gone viral, and has racked up a jaw-dropping 4.1 million views.
Food fans were stunned by the cheap buys and many were keen to express this in the comments.
One person said: “I need to go.”
Another added: “I need the hash browns.”
A third commented: “My mum gets them chicken nuggets and hashbrowns from Herons
